Highball! Whiskey Soda

During a trip to Japan, I started thinking about one of the country's favourite casual drinks: whisky soda. What if it was bottled, packaged and sold as a brand in its own right?

That thought grew into a range of canned drinks, with flavours inspired by the places I visited, including Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.

The packaging became a way of capturing a little of the trip itself, drawing on shapes, colours and details from snapshots and moments along the way. Each can takes cues from its city, creating a playful drinks brand that brings some of the feeling of Japan into the can itself.
